Chunky’s Cinema Pub Chooses Ballantyne Strong for its Turnkey Digital Cinema Deployment
Ballantyne Strong, Inc. (NYSE Amex: BTN), a provider of digital cinema projection equipment and services, cinema screens and other cinema products, announced today that it has signed an agreement to provide and install state-of-the-art NEC digital projection systems, GDC cinema servers, Strong MDI screens and other equipment at Chunky’s Cinema Pubs (www.chunkys.com) with a combined 16 screens at its Pelham and Nashua, NH and Haverhill, MA locations.
Chunky’s is a truly unique dinner & a movie establishment showing all the latest releases. Guests enjoy a full restaurant menu including beer, wine & cocktails while seated in comfortable leather Town Car chairs inside their theaters.
Conversion of the three Chunky’s Cinema Pub locations is expected to be completed in September and will include RealD 3D systems in Nashua, Pelham and Haverhill.
