Ultra-Bright Barco Digital Cinema Projector Used for Premiere of ’Tangshan Earthquake’ —Jul 13, 2010
Chinese film group Huayi Brothers has premiered its latest production “Tangshan Earthquake” in Tangshan using Barco's ultra-bright DP2K-32B digital cinema projectors. With a width of almost 33 meters, the screen used for this screening was 10 meters wider than an IMAX screen, making it the largest screen in the world. To achieve optimum visual effects, two Barco DP2K-32B 'Series II' digital projectors were used.
