Arts Alliance Media Announces Finnkino Cinemas to Join VPF Rollout —Jun 28, 2011
Arts Alliance Media (AAM), Europe’s leading digital cinema company, and Finnkino Cinemas, Finland’s number one cinema chain, have announced a deal to digitise all of Finnkino’s screens across the country.  The VPF deal will cover all of Finnkino’s 88 screens across 14 sites, and will see each screen converted to DCI-compliant digital cinema over the next 18 months. Digital Cinemas Lead to Increased Attendance —Jun 27, 2011
As the first country in the world, Norway has completed a collective, national digitalisation of its movie theatres. The process ended almost a year earlier than anticipated, and now a total of 185 movie theatres are able to screen films digitally.
