Centro Digital Pictures was founded in 1987 by John Chu, initially as a post-production company and later evolving to become what is probably Asia's leading animation and visual effects studio. With over 130 full-time staff members and US$25 million invested to date, Centro has developed a creative and technical skill-set unrivalled in the region, winning over 40 local and international awards for its work. The underlying success of the company is not based on its investment in technology , but rather on its desire and ability to continually assess itself creatively.
