JT Bioscopen is one of the largest cinema chains in the Netherlands with 22 cinemas in 21 cities. JT Bioscopen is the oldest cinema chain of the Netherlands and is still 100% Dutch owned. The growth of JT is driven by continuous innovation with partners like Dolby. In 2014, JT Bioscopen will have opened three new theaters: Hoorn, Hilversum, and Eindhoven. In 2015, JT will open a new cinema in Alkmaar. This makes JT the most ambitious cinema operator in Europe. The new JT Eindhoven cineplex will host eight screens and 1,546 seats. In addition to the Dolby Cinema premiere screen, the Cineplex is equipped with two Dolby Atmos screens, a 50-seat private screen, and limited VIP seating in all the additional screens. This variety in experiences caters to all consumers in the Eindhoven area. JT Bioscopen wants to be a distinctive movie theater chain, which offers all customers a hospitable environment and a personal experience. JT Bioscopen serves different target groups, with events such as Senior High-Tea, Toddler Screenings, and alternative content with live opera and ballet showings. Every month there is a Ladies Only evening. JT Bioscopen is situated in Alkmaar, Alphen aan den Rijn, Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, Arnhem, Den Bosch, Deventer, Doetinchem, Eindhoven, Gorinchem, Heerhugowaard, Hilversum, Hoogeveen, Hoogezand, Hoorn, Kerkrade, Meppel, Nijmegen, Purmerend, Steenwijk, and Vlaardingen.
