GDC Technology to Supply 100 Digital Cinema Servers to Landmark Cinemas
GDC Technology (“GDC Tech”), a world leading digital cinema solution provider, is pleased to announce today the signing of a new digital cinema server supply agreement with Landmark Cinemas of Canada Inc. (“Landmark”), the largest independent exhibitor in Western Canada. Patrons of Landmark are sure to appreciate the dramatic enhancement of their cinematic experience after a total of 100 SX-2000A Digital Cinema Servers with Integrated Media Block (IMB) are installed throughout this cinema chain.
Privately-owned and operated since 1965, Landmark is Canada’s largest independent exhibitor. The cinema chain currently operates 31 cinema complexes, with a combined total of 109 screens in 31 locations in Western Canada and the Yukon. With its 600-plus employees chosen for their passion for movies, Landmark’ patrons are guaranteed the best possible conditions for enjoying the latest films. The installation of GDC’s digital cinema servers will continue to ensure that Landmark’ patrons receive the finest entertainment available. Under the current agreement, King Cinema Services will install 100 GDC servers throughout Landmark cinemas.
