Cinema
Equipment and Supplies (CE+S) today introduced Cielo, a software application
that allows users to manage their cinema from anywhere. Cielo gives cinema
owners, managers, and technicians the ability to see exactly what is going on
in every auditorium from any smartphone, tablet, or desktop — and take
immediate action in real time.
“With Cielo, we are revolutionizing the way movie theaters
are managed,” said Guillermo Younger Jr, Head of Product Development at CE+S.
“Cielo will connect cinema owners, managers, technicians, and the NOC in a way
that has never been achieved.”
Next Generation
Remote Monitoring
The patent-pending Cielo application allows users to connect
from any internet connected device to view critical information needed to
ensure movie theater equipment uptime. With a very intuitive and user-friendly
interface design, Cielo organizes important data such as lamp hours, feature
format, and equipment serial numbers for quick and easy accessibility.
Cielo’s notification system informs users when and where
potential show-stopping issues occur in real time. With smartphone access,
cinema managers and technicians will now have the ability to react
instantaneously to critical issue alerts from anywhere. “Our customers have
voiced that even seconds are crucial when it comes to show stopping issues. We
saw a business need to democratize mission critical data and that is exactly
what we accomplished with Cielo. With Cielo, you see what the NOC sees” said
Alex Younger, VP of Sales at CE+S.
Streamlined
PurchasingWith Cielo, managers will be notified when their consumables,
such as lamps, are expiring and give them the ability to re-order directly from
the application. Cielo provides just-in-time delivery of consumables, which
eliminates the need to carry unnecessary inventory. “By improving cash flow and
efficiency for our customers, Cielo allows managers to focus on other aspects
of their business that provide more value” commented Luis Arreola, VP of
Operations at CE+S.
NOC Support Integration
Cielo also integrates with Cinevise Global Network
Operations Center (NOC) and provides users direct in-application access to
technical support from certified Cinevise technicians. Cielo users will have
the ability to update or create support tickets from anywhere and be able to
view how many open tickets exist at each site and each auditorium. Cielo users
can now easily reference important troubleshooting information, such as
firmware versions and serial numbers, and update their support tickets directly
from Cielo.
Availability
Cielo will be available for full release in the summer of
2014. An official release date and region-specific details such as pricing and
supported languages will be announced at a later date. CE+S will begin signing
up interested cinema circuits for closed beta testing at CinemaCon starting
March 25th. For a product demonstration and registration to become a
potential beta test site, please visit the Cinema Equipment and Supplies Booth
