Christie®, the global leader in helping customers create the world’s best shared experiences, today announced that industry veteran Susie Beiersdorf has joined Christie as VP, Cinema Sales – Americas, while long-time Christie stalwart Dave Muscat has been promoted to VP, Sales, Enterprise Solutions – Americas. The two new positions are effective immediately and will report to Dale Miller, Executive Vice-President, Global Sales, for Christie.
“Since 2008, Susie has been directly involved in the rollout of digital cinema for a major electronics company and as such, she brings not only a wealth of exhibitor relationships but also considerable studio experience to Christie,” said Dale Miller, EVP, Global Sales, Christie.
“As well, in pursuit of enhancing the cinema experience, Susie is an active participant in various industry groups. She serves on the Board of Directors for the International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA); is the Chairperson for the Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc.; is a long-time member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and participates in the Laser Illuminated Projector Association (LIPA) and the Intersociety Digital Cinema Forum (ISDCF),” added Miller.
Beiersdorf will be responsible for expanding the already-considerable footprint for Christie’s projectors and related cinema technologies across North and South America.
Complementing Christie’s long-standing expertise in cinema, the company’s enterprise solutions for Location and Events Based Entertainment (LBE) venues and Technical Sales and Solutions (TSS) are increasingly in demand, drawing on an impressive network of valued Christie VIP Integrators, distributors, consultants and market development resources. This growth has necessitated the creation of the VP, Sales, Enterprise Solutions – Americas role, to be filled by Dave Muscat, formerly Christie’s Sr. Director for Technical Sales and Solutions – Americas.
“Dave has a wealth of expertise across all of Christie’s sales channels and considerable experience helping to create end-user solutions. He is passionate about creating solutions that both exceed customer expectations and add value to the Christie Partner network,” said Miller.
“I’m looking forward to Dave continuing his successful career at Christie, which began in 2002, in this new role.”
