QSC'S NEW THREE-WAY A HIT AT CINEMA EXPO
QSC unveils new 3-way screen channels to European market
Once again confirming their position as the "Power Behind the Pictures,"
Costa Mesa, CA-based QSC Audio made a big impression at this year's
Cinema Expo show in Amsterdam.
Expanding their popular Digital Cinema Speaker
line, the company unveiled five new three-way screen channels to the
European market. The DCS series now comprises nine models ranging in
size from the compact SC-413 to the flagship SC-443, featuring four 15-inch LF speakers and the company's exclusive MH-1075 mid-high component.
"The development of these new three-channel DCS models was fueled by
our continuing efforts to offer audio solutions for everything from
high-end screening rooms to auditoriums of all sizes," QSC's Cinema
Market Manager François Godfrey said upon taking news of the product
launch public. "QSC occupies a unique position within the marketplace
in that we're of a size that allows us to bring precise focus to
cinema, yet still more than capable of delivering the quantities needed
for multiplex construction."
Also at Cinema Expo, the company announced THX approval for the DCS SC-423
model. The three-way system is comprised of QSC's proprietary MH-1063
mid-high component and LF-4215 low frequency component featuring two
15-inch drivers. Featuring CCW (Close Coupled Woofers) for improved
coverage, the SC-423 is capable of bi- or tri-amped operation.
The company also announced the forthcoming expansion of their surround
loudspeaker line, with the introduction of four new models available
Fall 2005.
