dcinex, the pan-European cinema service provider, announced today that, starting January 1st 2013, the group will be strengthened by several well-known industry experts:
A new Country General Manager and an extended sales force for Germany
In Germany, Karl-Joachim Lohkamp will join dcinex Deutschland GmbH in Düsseldorf as new Country General Manager. Lohkamp has over 25 years experience in the cinema business (Theatre Manager, CCS, Compeso). He will be joined by another cinema veteran and former colleague, Marc Garweg, who will join the German sales team of Frank Schmitz, Head of Sales Germany. The South-German office near Munich will be managed by the well-known and experienced expert Gerhard Fuhrmann.
Karl-Joachim Lohkamp will report to Till Cussmann, VP Exhibitor Services of dcinex. "We are very happy to welcome our new colleagues to accelerate the next steps of cinema digitalisation. We are convinced that a digital projection system is only the beginning and that new more integrated technology will bring added value and new possibilities to the exhibitors", says Till Cussmann.

A new Country General Manager for Exhibitor Services in Benelux region
In the Benelux region, dcinex promoted Matthew Jones as Country General Manager for Exhibitor services who will lead the new integrated entity covering Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. In order to respect the country specific requirements and customer intimacy, this entity will continue to operate with two sales and technical offices: one in Belgium near Brussels and one in the Netherlands near Venlo.
A new CTO for dcinex
On the technology side, Jörn Lembke will join dcinex as new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Jörn Lembke has an outstanding career in the broadcast and digital video industry and will help dcinex to look into the future and provide the right tools and services to fulfill tomorrow's industry needs.
Jörn Lembke will directly report to dcinex CEO, Serge Plasch. "I am very happy to have someone on board who will give a new impulse to the development of new ideas that will move forward the integration of cinema technologies and movie operations", says Serge Plasch, CEO of dcinex group.
These appointments are part of the strong commitment of dcinex shareholders and management to consolidate and develop the dcinex group as the leading pan-European provider of fully integrated and best in class solutions for movie operations.
