MZC Quanjing Cinema Becomes First Christie Vive Audio Cineplex in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Christie® , a leader in creating and delivering the world’s best visual and audio experiences, announced that MZC Quanjing Cinema is the first cinema complex in China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to be fully equipped with the innovative Christie Vive Audio™, the cinema industry’s only purpose built line array speaker solution.

Located at Bojingwan in Baotou City, the cineplex consists of 8 halls, including a Dolby® Atmos® certified flagship auditorium in Hall 2, as well as specially configured auditoriums for couples and children. Each hall is stylishly furnished with contemporary motifs to suit the taste of customers from diverse age groups. Besides being pampered with supremely comfortable seats similar to those found in premium auditoriums, patrons can also enjoy free WIFI access and are served by a highly efficient online ticketing system.

The Christie Vive Audio components installed in MZC Quanjing Cinema include LA Series line array, surround and ceiling surround loudspeakers for Halls 1 to 5, LS Series screen channel and surround loudspeakers for Halls 6 to 8. In addition, all auditoriums are fitted with S118 and S218 subwoofers for bass management, as well as CDA2 and CDA5 Class D amplifiers. The end result is highly immersive cinema sound known for delivering exceptional power and performance.

By combining the superior sound quality of ribbon driver technology with the precise directional performance of line array loudspeaker design, Christie Vive Audio enables cinema exhibitors to benefit from accurate reproduction of today’s digital cinema audio formats.
