Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB) today announced that the company has reached a major milestone with more than 1,000 Dolby Atmos screens installed in Asia Pacific.

Asia Pacific is also seeing a growing trend of exhibitors conducting multiplex wide installations of Dolby Atmos. Bringing Dolby Atmos to every auditorium in a complex will meet the growing need to deliver a premium cinema sound experience to movie lovers. Exhibitors’ sites with all Dolby Atmos screens include Duo Yun Xuan Cinema (Shanghai, China), United Cinemas Craigieburn (Melbourne, Australia). In addition, PRV ICON Cinemas (India) has four sites with Dolby Atmos across all its screens and SPI Cinemas (India) has two sites.Dolby Atmos momentum continues to grow globally with more than 2,700 screens installed or committed to in more than 75 countries. More than 150 mixing facilities and more than 650 feature films have been announced with support from all major Hollywood studios as well as content creators around the world, including Asia Pacific.
