Kinoton Fills Giant Open-Air Screen at Asia's Largest Film Festival —Nov 11, 2011
This year’s BIFF International Film Festival took place at an ultramodern new venue in Busan, South Korea's second-largest city after Seoul. The prestigious 150-million-dollar Busan Cinema Center has total floor space of 54,000 square meters on nine stories. It houses a multipurpose screening hall with close to 840 seats, a 400-seat theatre, and two auditoriums with 200 seats each. It also boasts a spectacular open-air theatre with seating for 4000 beneath a huge outdoor roof with colorful LED lighting. All of the cinemas feature high-quality Kinoton film technology.

3D cinema technology provider RealD is supporting Kinoton’s DCP Digital Cinema Projectors by offering a designated holder for the RealD XL Cinema System. Now RealD’s XL larger-screen technology can be mounted fast and easily in the front of DCP projectors. Benjamin Button and Valkyrie Premiered Digitally at Berlin —Jan 23, 2009
It was a great opportunity for Berlin film fans to meet their idols in person: On January 19th, Bratt Pitt walked the red carpet at the Potsdamer Platz, accompanied by his partner Angelina Jolie, and the very next day Tom Cruise was on parade just a few meters away. Cinema City International Goes Digital and 3D —Aug 6, 2008
Cinema City International are equipping their theatres with D-Cinema technology suitable for 3D projection. The major multiplex operator has ordered 50 Kinoton DCP 30 Digital Cinema Projectors with integrated Dolby 3D system, several of which have already been installed in Israel, Poland and Hungary. XDC and Kinoton start a new cooperation in order to enhance the XDC roll out plans in Europe —Nov 16, 2006
XDC and the German projector manufacturer Kinoton have launched a new cooperation for the integration and the delivery of 2K digital cinema installations with Kinoton projectors. “The focus will mainly be on the German speaking territories - Germany, Austria and Switzerland – but, since Kinoton is active in many European countries, XDC will of course consider any market opportunity.” said Bernard Collard, XDC General Manager. New Digital 3D Attraction in Istanbul —Dec 21, 2004
The Cinebonus multiplex with its 7 auditoriums is situated in the G-Mall shopping center in Istanbul. Auditorium No 7 has been featuring a new exciting attraction for a short time: Up to 92 viewers can experience exciting three-dimensional adventures provided by a HD StereoVision Player made by Kinoton.
