Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution. DCinemaToday has developed a series of RSS feeds for use in news readers and can be incorporated into external web sites. For example, your web site could have an area displaying the latest news. These feeds include headlines, summaries and links back to DCinemaToday for the full article. RSS feeds are free. DCinemaToday currently uses RSS 2.0 and are subject to change.
Requesting the example links below sends a raw XML file that can be formatted by most browsers and news readers that support RSS 2.0. Most browers support reader extensions that will format the XML. The RSS1 feed contains the last 12 months of headlines and news summaries. Note that the XML has been extended to include participating company logos, names, and URLs that and optionally be displayed using your custom code. The default action of the second link (RSS2) is the same as RSS1 except the look back time is 3 months. RSS2 accepts two querystring parameters: ?tabIDs={} and &months={}. The tabIDs= can be a comma delimited string where 1 is Exhibition, 2 is Industry, 3 Content, 4 Upstream (capture, post, etc), 5 Downstream (DCI Home, etc). Please let us know if this feture is useful.
Please contact us if you are interested in integrating our RSS feed into your company website.
