In 1998 AmPro, of Melbourne, FL, and Gretag AG, Regensdorf, Switzerland, entered into an agreement to provide for the transfer of Gretag's Eidophor large-screen projector expertise, technology, patents, copyrights and commercial business to AmPro. Gretag became a major AmPro shareholder. The companies jointly produced the AE-12 high-brightness Eidophor projector.
