GDC and DTS, Inc. Gain Momentum with IAB for DTS:X Upgrades
GDC Technology Limited (‘GDC’), a leading global provider of digital cinema solutions, announced today that almost all cinemas using GDC’s DTS:X object-based rendering server technology in North America, Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore and South Asia have completed the conversion to support the international immersive audio bitstream (IAB) standard in DTS:X cinemas.
