About Venice Cinemas:

Established in 2002, Venice Cinemas is located within two adjacent buildings in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. They are connected by an overhead bridge similar to those in Venice, Italy. The original multiplex had 10 auditoriums fitted with top-of-the-line equipment and a capacity of between 110 and 160 seats each. In a move to provide the best cinematic experience to movie-goers, Venice Cinemas underwent a major refurbishment in 2013 to upgrade its screens, audio equipment, sound insulation and seats to those of the highest standards. In 2021, it added five new auditoriums at the basement level, each with a capacity of between 40 and 60 seats. The expanded multiplex features an aquatic theme by deploying curved screens and stunning projection effects to create a highly immersive space.
