John Fithian, NATO President & CEO, to receive Inter-Society's Ken Mason Award
Cinema-industry veteran John Fithian, President and CEO, National Association of Theatre Owners, has been selected as the 2020 recipient of the Ken Mason Inter-Society Award. The Ken Mason Award honors an individual who has made outstanding long-term contributions leading to the overall improvement of the motion picture experience. The announcement was made today by Paul Holliman, President, The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. Fithian will receive the award at a ceremony held on Tuesday, January 21 at the ICTA Seminar Series LA at the Universal Hilton.

Cinema-industry veteran Susie Beiersdorf, Vice President of Sales, Cinema – The Americas, Christie, has been selected as the 2019 recipient of the Ken Mason Inter-Society Award. The Ken Mason Award honors an individual who has made outstanding long-term contributions leading to the overall improvement of the motion picture experience. Beiersdorf will receive the award at a ceremony held at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on April 4.

Recognizes Contributions to Overall Motion Picture Experience In his current role as Founder/Partner at SGI QC, Ted oversees Domestic and International QC for several of the top studios. SGI has worked on major releases such as Transformers, The Avengers, and recently, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. SGI also helps on innovative engineering projects like the recent 35mm film release of InterStellar, and the 70mm film release of Hateful Eight, with installs and alignments.

Gary Weaver of The Walt Disney Studios to Receive Inter-Society’s 2010 Ken Mason Award at ShoWest 2010
The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. (the Inter-Society) announced today that Gary Weaver, Senior Vice President of Administration, Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures, will receive the Inter-Society’s 2010 Ken Mason Award at ShoWest to be held March 15-18, at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The award, named after the Inter-Society’s founder, will be presented to Weaver, during the opening day breakfast ceremony by Mark Christiansen, Executive Vice President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution Operations, Paramount Pictures and the President of the Inter-Society.
