1930 John Logie Baird (UK)
John Logie Baird, a Scottish TV inventor, pioneered many innovations in early television, such as the first images recorded on wax discs and color TV. Baird rightly deserves to be called the “Father of E-Cinema” because he championed the use of large-screen mechanical and electronic projectors in cinemas to present live events. From 1930 until his death in 1947, Baird developed numerous projectors using a range of technologies.
