Arts
Alliance Media (AAM), the global leader in digital cinema software and
services, have extended their software partnership with the prestigious San Sebastián International Film Festival (SSIFF) and Kelonik, a local integrator and service
provider, enabling AAM’s Producer and Screenwriter
cinema solutions to efficiently manage all the festival’s content and
scheduling for an eighth consecutive event.
Celebrating the festival’s 70th
event, SSIFF will show select titles to an international audience of
spectators, specialised media, and industry professionals while promoting projects in development and business opportunities for creators,
producers, and distributors.
To manage all network
operations from the festival’s HQ, Screenwriter will be used in conjunction
with Producer to allow technical operators to maintain comprehensive control
and visibility over all screens and content, while Kelonik provide technical
assistance and local support.
“We’re delighted to extend
our relationship with Arts Alliance Media for another Festival”, said Lucas Iaccarino, Technical Manager at SSIFF. “Screenwriter has played a critical role in the recent
history of SSIFF by helping us deliver outstanding technical performance by way
of simple content management and network visibility, while further developing
the way we operate.”
Responsible for scheduling features,
trailers and advertisements, monitoring screens, and controlling playback for
over 42,000 screens worldwide, AAM’s Screenwriter remains the most powerful,
widely deployed TMS in the world. When integrated with Producer, an overarching
Enterprise TMS which displays a real-time view of each screen Screenwriter is
connected to, SSIFF staff can automate daily tasks remotely for simple,
time-efficient operations.
Roberto Marabotto, VP of Sales for EMEA at
Arts Alliance Media, added, “we’re very excited
to continue working with SSIFF and Kelonik and be part of their landmark 70th
festival. SSIFF show great ambition to innovate and use
software in creative ways and we have proven throughout our relationship how
versatile and reliable our services are when handling high-profile events.”
