About Cine Colombia:

Cine Colombia is a film exhibition and distribution company in Colombia headed by Munir Falah and based in Bogota. It is a majority privately owned Colombian company belonging to the Santo Domingo Group. It was founded in 1927 with the association of twenty businessmen from the city of Medellín who raised the necessary capital to open the first silent movie theater in the country. Cinionic, the Barco, CGS, and ALPD cinema joint venture, has been named the exclusive technology partner for Cine Colombia. The deal is a culmination of years of ongoing support by Cinionic for Cine Colombia, the largest exhibitor in Colombia, with 339 screens across 46 locations. As the exclusive provider of all of Cine Colombia’s cinema visualization technology, the arrangement also includes access to Cinionic’s laser light upgrades and an extended warranty for the circuit’s entire fleet.
