KIT digital Content Solutions, Inc., a leading service and solution provider for the digital content value chain, has today announced partnerships with three major satellite vendors – Arqiva, Open Sky via Eutelsat and Microspace Communications.
These agreements will enable KIT digital Content Solutions, Inc. – which became an independent company in June 2012 – to add a fully hybrid distribution model across its US, UK and European footprint.
Alan Christensen, Director, Digital Cinema, KIT digital Content Solutions says: "Our business has experienced rapid growth over the past two years across all regions, the Americas, APAC and EMEA, and therefore we felt it made perfect sense to start incorporating future digital distribution vendors into our existing DCP distribution services.
We understand the complexity of global fragmentation; and simple steps like these demonstrate that we are serious about helping to control the ever-shifting landscape in the theatrical metropolis that is Digital Cinema Distribution. We look forward to working with our partner vendors to continue bringing efficiency to global content owners all over the world. Being agnostic and up front about distribution is important, especially in today’s market, so we are very happy to provide the entire model to our clients and their clients."
Kit Digital Content Solutions
has already had a phenomenal year and this announcement follows on from recent partnerships including a deal with 3D specialist imcube labs and a strategic commercial agreement with Vici Post Solutions.
