GDC Unveils Revolutionary 16-channel Cinema Audio Processor with Enhanced Bass Management for DTS Surround Cinema at CinemaCon 2025

16-channel cinema audio processor, AIB-3000, have shipped over 270 units since its introduction in 2024. The rapid growth in sales of GDC’s standalone cinema audio processor in countries such as Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, the Middle East, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and the United States confirms its global acceptance among cinema owners.
GDC will showcase AIB-3000 at CinemaCon 2025, scheduled from April 1 to April 3, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, in Milano Ballroom II, located on the Promenade level. GDC will take the opportunity to display its latest cinema solutions for micro rooms to premium large-format (PLF) auditoriums, developed specifically for the moviegoing experience, including the SR-series media servers for LED cinema screens, acoustically transparent LED cinema screen, the DTS audio solutions, and more. Attendees will have the chance to examine GDC’s standalone16-channel cinema audio processor, AIB-3000.
The AIB-3000 is a standalone 16-channel cinema audio processor compatible with all major current and legacy DCI servers that support 5.1/7.1 audio formats and up to 16-channel audio processing including the application for the US market. It delivers a sensational surround sound experience in certified DTS Surround Cinema auditoriums by enabling precise sound system calibration and utilizing full-range surrounds with enhanced bass management.
The AIB-3000 can also function as a digital-to-analog (DAC) converter, offering various auxiliary audio inputs, including a built-in booth monitor, microphone, and an interface for external audio media players. Additionally, it can remotely switch input sources via Ethernet. Furthermore, it supports HDMI with encoded audio formats such as AC3 with the HM-100 add-on.
