The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
 




The International Cinema Technology Association is a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry. CineAsia 2022 has been scheduled for Dec 5-8, 2022 in Bangkok.  Check links for more information.  The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. Cineworld Group Selects Volfoni for 3D Cinema Systems Rollout

Volfoni, the leading European provider of 3D technology, today announced that Cineworld Group (LON:CINE ), one of the leading cinema groups in Europe, has selected Volfoni for a 3D cinema systems rollout across multiple cities and countries in Europe.  

Cineworld Group is the second largest cinema group in Europe, and is listed on the London Stock exchange.  It owns and operates four brands, across nine territories including:  Cineworld Cinemas, Cinema City, Picture House, and Yes Planet.  The Group operates in nine countries:  UK, Poland, Israel, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Ireland with more than 2000 screens.  Last year, the Group achieved over 100 million customer admissions across all its cinemas.  

Cineworld selected Volfoni for their 3D cinema systems and deployed a combination of Volfoni’s products, including the highly efficient SmartCrystal™ NEO series and the award-winning SmartCrystal™ Diamond series.  The deployment is across multiple countries, including the UK, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia.
