The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
 




The International Cinema Technology Association is a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry. Members of the ICTA are those companies that manufacture, service and create the equipment that goes into movie theatres. The ICTA promotes technological advancements in the motion picture industry through educational seminars and programs. CineAsia 2022 has been scheduled for Dec 5-8, 2022 in Bangkok.  Check links for more information.  The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. Eclair Appoints Marie-Laure Barrau Sales Director for French and Belgian Markets

Eclair, a leader in content services for the motion picture and television industries (Ymagis Group – ISIN: FR0011471291, MAGIS, PEA-PME, TECH 40), today announced the appointment of Marie-Laure Barrau to the newly-created position of Sales Director for its activities in France and Belgium effective immediately. She is responsible for managing the sales teams across Eclair’s business divisions (Digital Applications, Digital Distribution, Theatrical Delivery, Preservation, Post-Production, Restoration and Versioning & Accessibility) in both countries.
 
Marie-Laure Barrau is a graduate of France’s KEDGE Business School and holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris. She started her career in 1998 at Teleshopping (TF1 Group) in marketing and sales roles, where she developed partnerships and sales with international home shopping players and local TV channels, before going on to lead the creation of its Euroshopping subsidiary (multi-channel retailer). In 2008, she joined digital agency Novacom Associés, specialised in video and 3D content, as Business Development Director and then moved to Thane Direct International, where she held various roles, including Sales Director for France and Head of European sales between 2012 and 2017. In parallel, she founded various companies in fields ranging from local retailing to Teleshopping business information (Essentiel, DRTV Lab, DRC). She most recently managed European sales development of the Free2Move App (Groupe PSA), an aggregator of urban mobility services.
