Then, it is so natural to sponsor the Monday afternoon European Focus Forum.”, says Fabrice Testa, Marketing & Operations Coordination Manager. “The seminar, "Digital Cinema Roll-Out in Europe, Year 2 Has Begun" and the special keynote addresses from UNIC, NATO and Warner Bros. are scheduled to take place on Monday 26 June, 2006 from 13.30-15.30 in the Forum Room of the Amsterdam RAI.”

The second part will focus on the European perspective. Nico Simon, CEO Utopia Group (Benelux and France), who has recently ordered 30 digital systems to XDC, will explain why going digital now. Sven Andresen, Central Film (Germany) will point out the advantages and drawbacks of digital distribution in the early days. Thomas Rüttgers, CEO Film Ton Technik Hannsdieter Rüttgers GmbH (Germany), XDC partner and integrator in Germany and Austria, will present the challenges of digital cinema implementation on the field. Peter Wester, Head of Business Development of XDC in Sweden will talk about the Swedish pioneers. An update about a specific diversified market – Switzerland – will be given by Patrik Engler, CEO Protronic AG Kinotechnik, XDC partner and integrator in Switzerland. Finally, Gerben Kuipers, Managing Director of CineMec Ede in The Netherlands will describe the digital exhibition day-to-day operations.
