DCS Events, organisers of the Emerging Cinema
Markets Conference ECM19 at the Grand Tarabya Hotel in Istanbul (19th –
21st November) have announced further details of the speakers and programme
at the ECM2019 conference.
The Emerging Cinema Markets in Turkey, Central Asia, the Middle East,
New Europe and Africa are at an early stage in their growth and development,
but in combination they offer a significant opportunity for investors,
studios, distributors, exhibitors and the specialist
supply chains to the industry.
The three-day conference will focus on the Turkish, Middle East, Central
Asia, New Europe and the African markets and includes key
speakers and presenters who will outline the current issues facing emerging
markets.
The Emerging Market Pioneers recognise the extent of the challenges as well as
the opportunities, such as government policies, piracy, technology standards,
theatrical release practices, international trade practices and the lack of
highly valued relationships within the industry at large – challenges which are
shared by counterparts across other Emerging Markets.
