Cinionic Strikes Deal with Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont to Deliver More than 200 Barco Series 4 Laser Projectors, Illuminating Movie Screens Across France and Africa

Cinionic, the Barco, CGS, and ALPD cinema joint venture providing a new visual standard with enhanced services and technology solutions, reinforces its leadership in the global cinema industry through a strategic relationship with Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont. Cinionic will bring its all laser solutions to the European exhibitor with an agreement for more than 200 Barco Series 4 laser projectors.   
  
Cinionic will power Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont’s new builds in France and Africa, beginning with its new theater in Sousse Tunisia, Africa. Currently, Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont operates more than 100 theaters across European and African countries. Together the companies will upgrade new and existing Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont theaters to bring an elevated movie-going experience for its audiences.

Launched in Spring 2019, the Barco series 4 laser projector delivers the highest quality visual experience in cinema for moviegoers today, future proofed for tomorrow; leveraging 4K, RGB-Laser with Barco Active Image Management™, as well as being ready for 4K 120fps high frame rate and onboard Barco Colorgenic™ delivering wide-color-gamut capabilities. Series 4 leads the industry as the most environmentally friendly and energy-efficient platform using Barco EcoPure™ design principles.
