Angel Studios Presents SKETCH Feature Film and 2025 Slate in HDR By Barco at CineEurope 2025

Angel Studios, in partnership with Barco, the global leader in laser cinema, will present an exclusive screening of the upcoming feature film SKETCH in HDR by Barco at this year’s edition of CineEurope.

The screening will follow Angel’s studio presentation and sneak peak of their 2025 slate, including never-before-seen content specially graded for HDR by Barco. The event takes place in the CCIB Auditorium in Barcelona on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 11 am – 1:30 pm CEST for all full registrants of the show.

This will be the first time at CineEurope that a studio presentation and screening will be shown in the groundbreaking HDR by Barco premium format, which officially launched in theaters earlier this year. The collaboration between Angel Studios and Barco highlights both companies’ commitment to elevating cinema experiences for all audiences and expanding the breadth of content available in premium formats.

SKETCH is the perfect film to showcase HDR by Barco. Seth Worley’s film unleashes a world of bold imagination and striking visuals, perfectly suited to the expanded capabilities of Barco HDR. With its unmatched brightness, deep shadows, brilliant highlights, and contrast, HDR by Barco allows the film’s wildly creative creatures and richly detailed environments to burst off the screen. Every frame benefits from the expanded dynamic range, delivering a cinematic experience that fully realizes the filmmaker’s bold artistic vision and draws audiences deeper into its vibrant, unpredictable world.

When a young girl’s sketchbook falls into a strange pond, her drawings come to life—unpredictable, chaotic, and dangerously real. As the town unravels, she and her brother must track down the creatures before they leave permanent damage. Their father, racing to find them through the fallout, must navigate a town in crisis to reunite his family and stop the disaster they never meant to unleash.
