NEC Display Solutions Europe
today announces the completion of a successful partnership with
ADDE to deploy its digital cinema projectors in Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont La Joliette cinema.
Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont (LCPG), the leading cinema chain in France, selected NEC to provide a total of 13 laser projectors in its new theatre in La Joliette, Marseille, combining vibrant colours with exceptional image quality for a stunning audience experience.
ADDE, a French cinema system integrator, equipped and installed three
NC3541L 4K RB laser projectors, designed for premium and large format screens, three
NC2041L RB laser projectors, and seven
NC1700L RB laser projectors for mid-sized screens, along with a range of lens options.
NEC’s partner ADDE, together with LCPG La Joliette, chose NEC based on the company’s long pedigree in cinema and its range of high-quality projectors which are suitable for every screen size.
“France has long had a love affair with the cinema screen, but even here cinema has suffered from competition from other media,” said Mark Kendall, Business Development Digital Cinema at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “Cinema is fighting back by creating a range of stunning experiences for movie-goers, and one of the most important factor will always be the quality of imagery on the screen.”
What’s more, NEC’s range of laser projectors provide higher reliability and lower total cost of ownership, with no need for lamp replacement or maintenance. Now France’s movie lovers can get a glimpse of the future at LCPG’s new cinema.
