Christie®, a global leader in audio visual technology, is excited to join the European cinema industry once again at CineEurope in Barcelona, from October 4-7 at Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona (CCIB). Christie will be at booth MR 134 for the 30th year of the show, the first in-person CineEurope event since 2019.
Delegates will be able to view a range of RGB pure laser projectors, as well as Christie CounterAct™ commercial UV disinfection fixtures with filtered Care222nm technology. “We’re thrilled to be able to meet in person at CineEurope and get back to discussing how we can enhance the cinema experience with our partners,” says Brian Claypool, executive vice president, Cinema, Christie. “With recent good news, including promising box office recovery and a host of exciting film releases to come with their own exclusive theatrical release window, there is great optimism about the future. People are the most important part of this industry, and we can’t wait to reconnect with partners and meet some new faces, as we enjoy the return of the cinematic experience together.”
Vibrant, lifelike images for any screen size
At CineEurope, Christie will showcase its
CP4430-RGB pure laser projector, while setting a new standard in image quality and cost of ownership, it also boasts advancements in maintenance and installation ease which is unmatched in the market. It recently impressed audiences at the Princess of Wales Theatre at the
Toronto International Festival. In addition, the Christie
CP2306-RGBe will make its European debut at the show, providing advanced RGB laser illumination and CineLife electronics for smaller screens. Christie’s
CP2315-RGB will also be on view, providing the same RGB laser illumination and CineLife electronics technology with the lowest TCO in the industry. Talk to a Christie representative about Christie Cinema Solutions and tools available to simplify operations, including the new
CineMaster™ cinema calculator to help determine an optimal projection solution for your theatre.
An added defence for greater peace of mind
Christie CounterAct units will also be available to view for the first time in Europe at the Christie booth MR 134 and the Ushio booth 200. CounterAct is a line of CE-certified commercial UV disinfection fixtures with Ushio’s patented Care222® far-UVC light technology that effectively reduces 99% of pathogens while people are present. It adds an additional layer of defence as part of a multi-disinfection strategy.
