Moviefone Media Signs Additional Theater Circuits to its Affiliate Content, Media & Ticketing Network
Moviefone, the iconic digital media brand, is thrilled to announce at CinemaCon 2023, deals to add showtimes and direct ticket links for the following leading movie theater exhibitors: CMX Cinemas, Santikos Entertainment, IPIC Theaters, National Amusements’ Showcase Cinemas and Cinema Labs.
They join AMC Theatres and Cinemark Theatres and these circuits announced at ShowEast: B&B Theatres, Studio Movie Grill, Maya Cinemas, D’Place Entertainment and Texas Theatre.
These new deals allow movie fans to go directly from Moviefone Media platforms to showtimes and ticketing at theaters throughout the country. This enables movie lovers to have a seamless transition from impression and excitement, to ticketing and fulfillment. This affiliate relationship is based on the premise that movies are meant to be seen in theaters.
Moviefone was acquired by its CEO Cleveland O’Neal III in 2020 to complement his nationally syndicated TV brand, “Made In Hollywood,” which is in its 18th broadcast season on CBS, FOX, ABC and CW affiliate stations in over 94% of U.S. households. And now streaming via its 24/7 Live TV FAST Channel, Made In Hollywood powered by Moviefone, is available on Redbox, Plex, TCL, Samsung TV Plus AU/NZ, Local Now, Freecast and its TV app available on Roku. Moviefone’s exclusive movie content also appears on Screenvision’s full Front + Center network on 14,000 theatre screens nationwide. And each month, the behind-the-scenes content generates millions of video views across Moviefone Media’s platforms including television, streaming, web, mobile, and social. It’s a unique 360-degree movie lover ecosystem.
CMX Cinemas is currently one of the ten largest circuits in the United States, operating 322 screens at 29 locations in seven states. It is based in Miami and enhances Moviefone’s strong exhibitor affiliate presence in the Southeast.
Boston area based National Amusements operates 298 screens at 23 locations in multiple states. They re-enforce the Northeast presence for referral coverage by Moviefone Media.
Santikos Entertainment, based in San Antonio, operates 121 screens at ten locations. Their outstanding theaters complement a huge Texas television and exhibitor footprint in the Lone Star state.
Boca Raton based IPICS, a leader in film and upscale dining, operates 13 theaters in eight states from coast to coast.
Cleveland O’Neal III, CEO of Moviefone Media stated, “The addition of these terrific, geographically diverse circuits enhances the ability of our multi-media network to refer our viewer, browser, fan or follower to purchase on the exhibitors’ platform. Exhibitors are tremendous marketers for their brand, location, loyalty programs and more. We drive traffic to them and help in the acquisition of customers. We do not do the ticketing, they do. This completely simplifies the process and exemplifies the evolution of our legacy brand to a new win-win partnership with exhibitors.”
