Christie to Showcase Industry-Leading Cinema Solutions at CinemaS Shanghai International Film Forum and Exhibition

Christie® will showcase its industry-leading cinema solutions ideal for both mainstream and Premium Large Format (PLF) auditoriums at the CinemaS Shanghai International Film Forum and Exhibition (CinemaS), to be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from June 12-14.

Held in conjunction with the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival where Christie is providing cinema projection and support for the opening and closing ceremonies, CinemaS has become the largest exhibition for the cinema industry in Shanghai. The event is an ideal platform for Christie to demonstrate unwavering support for its valued partners and customers, and showcase the latest advancements in cinema technologies, aimed at engaging moviegoers, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.

The Christie booth at #B01 will delight visitors with a live demonstration of the CP4415-RGB, a 4K-resolution, 15,000-lumen pure laser cinema projector equipped with Christie Real|Laser™ technology for screens up to 18 meters (58 feet) wide. Featuring Christie CineLife+™ electronics, this compact, all-in-one DCI-compliant projector excels in image quality and operational lifetime, and provides an even lower total cost of operation. The detailed, true-to-life images are paired with Christie Vive Audio, which combines planar ribbon drivers, line array speaker design and Class D amplification to provide an unmatched cinema sound experience.

Another highlight is the new Christie CP4455-RGB large-format projector complete with dual-laser optical systems (LOS) and high-speed CineLife+ electronics capable of 4K@120Hz HFR playback. The 57,000-lumen CP4455-RGB is specially designed to deliver stunning visuals in PLF auditoriums for an unprecedented movie-going experience. The award-winning CINITY Cinema System, which has gained widespread adoption in cinemas across China and is making significant progress in Europe, is based on architecture and technology similar to the CP4455-RGB. Christie provides high performance digital projection technology and services to CINITY Cinema Systems as a CINITY projection system partner and reseller.

Also on static display are three remarkable cinema projectors. The Christie CP4435-RGB, boasting an impressive 35,000 lumens and 4K resolution, is the perfect choice for screens up to 27 meters (89 feet) wide. For screens up to 19 meters (63 feet) wide, the Christie CP2420-RGB offers advanced technology at an affordable price, delivering exceptional 2K cinema projection. Additionally, the Christie CP4420-Xe, a Xenon illuminated cinema projector with 4K resolution and ultrafast CineLife+ electronics processing, ensures long-lasting brightness and outstanding image performance while maintaining the lowest operating costs in its brightness class.

The user-friendly and sleek UX-designed interface of CineLife+ simplifies the playback and management of cinema movies and alternative cinema content. Projector set-up is quick and easy with the newly integrated Electronic Color Convergence (ECC) feature for perfect color alignment. Besides compatibility with third-party IMBs and support for all content formats, CineLife+ can seamlessly integrate with Christie Mystique™ Cinema, a fully built-in dual-projection kit that quickly and seamlessly aligns images from both projectors for large screens and enables 4K 3D playback at 120fps.
