MasterImage Strikes 3D Deal with Empire Cinemas
MasterImage USA of Burbank, California announced today an agreement with Empire Cinemas LTD, UK to supply a minimum of 40 MasterImage 3D Systems. Empire is one of the leading independent cinema chains in the UK and this deal represents the largest deployment of MasterImage systems in Europe to date.
Empire Cinemas operate 144 screens at 16 locations. This deal follows on the heels of the 12 system installation at Palace Cinemas in the Czech Republic and Hungary, as well as a 30 system commitment by Omniplex Cinemas in Ireland. These numbers round out to over 400 systems committed or installed from Masterimage in 22 countries.
