MikroM is proud to announce its new Integrated Media Block designed for 2K/4K digital
cinema projectors.
“As an independent
technology provider we are excited to extend our technical leadership
by providing the MVC201-2K/4K as a brand-new generation of our FPGA based media
block solutions,” said
Holger Krahn, CEO of MikroM. “In addition we provide
to our MVC200-DC customers the highest level of continuity by offering the same
Application Programming Interface (API) as they are used to employ in their
existing projects,” noted Mr. Krahn.
The MVC200-DC
was the first FPGA based 2K Media Block for digital cinema servers conforming
to DCI specifications on the market and has been integrated into several
digital cinema server products worldwide.
“Our new
Integrated Media Block features 2K to 4K switching by a simple software
upgrade, without any hardware modifications or compatibility problems. The
MVC201-2K/4K is a future-proof Media Block solution for customers, which expect
a high level of flexibility and independency with respect to the configuration
of their DC equipment. A convincing approach, as the customer’s interest
shows”, Dr. Wolfgang Ruppel, Senior Engineer, added.
Holger and
Wolfgang will be available for further information on MVC201-2K/4K roadmap at
ShoWest in Las Vegas, from March 15th through March 18th, 2010.
