Doremi Cinema is pleased to assert a
standard of excellence by passing the Compliance Test Plan (CTP) with its
digital cinema servers.
With the Integrated Media Block (IMB) and Server product line passing
the CTP, Doremi is poised to present the Digital Cinema industry with complete
playback solutions of the upmost security and feature sets dictated by DCI
standards and guidelines.
The DCI standard was created by the Digital
Cinema Initiatives, LLC (DCI) to maintain specific criteria for the digital
cinema industry such as high quality image, interoperability and content
security. The Compliance Test Plan (CTP) was created by DCI as a uniform
testing procedure for these standards. CineCert is the third part testing
facility licensed by DCI to administer the testing procedures defined in the
Compliance Test Plan (CTP) in the United States.
“Passing the
CTP with our DCP-2000 server line was critical,” states Michael Archer VP of
Digital Cinema. “The vast majority of
Doremi installations today are server based.
Even though Compliance with our IMB was key, it was vital that we passed
with our server line in order to provide our existing server customers the
required upgrade path to DCI Compliance.”
With product
lines covering playback servers, mastering stations, alternative content and
access products, DCI compliance endorses Doremi’s unparalleled server
technology and emphasizes Doremi’s position as a pioneer accustomed to taking
the first steps into the ever advancing industry.
