Classic Cinemas Is Full Speed Ahead on its Digital Rollout with GDC Technology Servers
GDC Technology (“GDC Tech”), a world leading digital cinema solution provider, was selected by Downers Grove, Illinois (USA) based Classic Cinemas (“Classic”) to provide the SX-2000A Digital Cinema Server with Integrated Media Block (“IMB”) for it’s complete digital conversion of 100 movie screens. Classic installed 100 new GDC Tech servers which feature advanced digital cinema technology.
Classic won industry awards for it’s restoration of older movie theaters starting as far back as 1978 with the Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove. It’s mission is to provide an outstanding, affordable experience in a well maintained, well-supervised environment, using state of the art technology. Classic is totally committed to customer service while working with the community to improve the quality of life. With the SX-2000A Digital Cinema Servers with IMB being exclusively deployed at it’s cinemas, Classic is leapfrogging into the future of cinematic entertainment.
