Twentieth Century Fox® and Dolby Laboratories revealed that Academy Award winning director Ang Lee’s visually stunning work Life of Pi will be mixed and released in Dolby® Atmos™, the new audio platform that has revolutionized the experience of sound in entertainment.

Re-recording mixers Doug Hemphill and Ron Bartlett will be at the helm of the
Life of Pi Dolby Atmos mix. Based on the best-selling novel by Yann Martel,
Life of Pi follows the story of an Indian boy named Pi, a zookeeper's son who finds himself in the company of a hyena, zebra, orangutan, and a Bengal tiger after a shipwreck sets them adrift in the Pacific Ocean. On November 21
st, 2012 audiences will be transported into the epic journey of adventure and discovery with an immersive and lifelike experience only Dolby Atmos can deliver.
