DCP24 Laboratory Has Announced Satellite Delivery in Russia
At Kinoexpo tradeshow (St. Petersburg, Russia) DCP24 Laboratory has announced the beginning of delivery of content to Russian sites through the satellite links.
In September’ 2012 DCP24 Laboratory has started installation of new hybrid systems of digital delivery oriented on receiving content through the Internet as well as through the satellite channel. Hybrid method of delivery of content is unique for Russia and helps to connect to the DCP24 network even sites without a sufficient traffic capacity of the Internet channel. The use of powerful transmitters on satellites and twenty-four-hour service allow to install small, lightweight satellite dishes (usually diameter is up to 1.2 meter) across almost all Russian territory.
DCP24 Laboratory is a leading company specialized in mastering, replication and Digital Delivery in Russia. During the last year DCP24 has connected to the Digital Delivery system more than 30% of sites in Russia (629 screens in 261 sites). There have been already delivered more than 95 films for foreign and local distributors.
