Intelligence, globally and is promoting their suite of solutions in the US
at the upcoming ShowEast 2014 in Florida.
Cinema Intelligence is the first big data analytics product
of its kind aimed at motion picture exhibitors. The user friendly web based
suite of solutions offer a collection of modules aimed at cinema exhibitors and
is designed to allow management of the complete lifetime of a movie in a
theatre environment. It optimizes forecasting, planning and scheduling of
movies, alternative content and events and increase profitability. The
sophisticated algorithm developed by Share Dimension combines advanced
forecasting based on historical box office information with cutting edge
scheduling technology.

Introduced last June at CineEurope to their growing
European-based customers, Cinema Intelligence includes Share Dimension’s
flagship product, Cinema Scheduler, used by theatre circuits in Europe and the
Middle East to automate generation of optimized weekly schedules. Customers
using Cinema Scheduler since 2012 include Pathe, the largest cinema chain in the
Netherlands, who in 2013 has seen a 2.9% increase in admissions YOY compared to
the slight 0.8% market increase for the Netherlands.
Cinema Intelligence advanced forecasting algorithms
use machine learning to drive intelligence from historical data. With Cinema Intelligence, cinema exhibitors can
also use internet search patterns to predict and track how their movies would
perform in their cinemas weeks in advance. It uses Google (and YouTube) search
data to give indication of where a movie is headed as early as four weeks ahead
from release week. Cinema Intelligence helps cinema exhibitors capitalize on
deep insights in moviegoer’s trends and preferences.
