The cinema chain CCA
Argentina Cinemacenter has chosen Doremi's IMS1000AR Integrated Media Server,
as part of their investment, to install with the innovative laser projection
system developed by NEC.
The laser projector NC1100L, has been installed in a
Cinemacenter Premium room, in the city of Mendoza, and is the first laser
exhibition system to be installed in Argentina as well as Latin America, and
seamlessly integrates with the IMS1000AR Doremi server, which is assembled in
Argentina.
"We are very pleased with choosing Doremi, their high
quality servers and superior post sales support were key factors in our
decision. Doremi's technical support team and 24-7 in-country support gives us
the operational security that we exhibitors need, and that our clients deserve,
"said Esteban Suñe, Director of CCA Cinemacenter.
The IMS1000AR project was a combined effort between Doremi Labs,
Full Dimensional Entertainment, who is responsible for assembling and testing
in Argentina, and INCAA, who has provided the necessary support for the project's success.
"We have always believed in the importance of
assembling the latest generation server
in-country. Our aim was to address the specific needs of local exhibitors and
the digitization of their screens, while abiding by sustainability policies
raised by the Argentine government," said Michael Archer – Vice President
of Digital Cinema, Doremi.
Ariel Direse, Program Coordinator for Cinema Screens INCAA
added “We are very pleased that Doremi has been able to realize the assembly of
a content server in Argentina and is also now providing local technical support
from their Service Center that has generated new jobs in the industry and made
products more accessible to exhibitors. We are proud to have promoted and
supported this project from the beginning; which is now paying off ."
