Cinema-industry veteran Susie Beiersdorf, Vice President of Sales, Cinema – The Americas, Christie, has been selected as the 2019 recipient of the Ken Mason Inter-Society Award. The Ken Mason Award honors an individual who has made outstanding long-term contributions leading to the overall improvement of the motion picture experience. The announcement was made today by Paul Holliman, President, The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. Beiersdorf will receive the award at a ceremony held at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on April 4.


CineAsia 2024 has been scheduled for Dec 9-12, 2024 in Bangkok.  

The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. IMAX® and VOX Cinemas Partner to Bring Three IMAX® Theatres to the Middle East

Agreement with Leading Middle East Exhibitor to Mark Launch of IMAX's New Laser Projection in the UAE and First IMAX® Theatre in Lebanon
IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX) and VOX Cinemas, a leading exhibitor in the Middle East, today announced an agreement for three IMAX® theatres to be added to VOX locations throughout the region. IMAX theatres will be added to existing complexes in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and in Beirut, Lebanon, marking IMAX's entry into that country. In addition, IMAX's next-generation digital laser projection system will be launched as part of a completely new development  of their flagship VOX Cinema, located within the landmark Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, UAE.

Digital cinema company Arts Alliance Media (AAM) has announced a deal with leading Middle Eastern cinema chain VOX Cinemas, to supply VOX’s sites with a full suite of digital cinema software.
