With 17 years of enriching experience in the culture of cinema
exhibition, TheatreWorld magazine now brings its very own expo for the
exhibition community -- BigCineExpo!
Big Cine Expo 2016 is an interactive and value-added
platform for Theatre Owners, Design Consultants, Equipment Manufacturers,
System Integrators, Project Management Professionals, Industry Stakeholders and
the user community of Single-Screen, Multiplex cinema and Mall entertainment in
Asia and India.
"Whenever I travel across India and speak to exhibitors, everybody
is asking for an expo for the cinema exhibition industry. Major Indian
exhibitors have good technical knowledge and budget, but they cannot afford to
travel outside the country exploring new products. Apart from 2-3 chains in
India it is very rare they go to expos outside India and they are depended on
the local dealers" says Raghav, editor/publisher of TheatreWorld
magazine and organizer of Big Cine Expo.
“Being the highest number of movie producers, India do not have any
expo for the cinema exhibition eco-system. Most of our bigger chains afford
going to expos happening outside India, but not the smaller chains. In last 3
years almost 2000 screens got closed in India due to lower business and lower
foot falls. This happened due to lack of business, technology, marketing and
operational knowledge with the exhibitors” adds Raghav.
TheatreWorld, backed by its 17
years of cinema exhibition culture and experience, reaching every part of
India, from a small single-screen in urban part to the luxury multiplex in the
metros will be organizing this Big Cine Expo. The exhibitor community very
badly need such kind of event for acquiring knowledge and boost the industry.

India are expected to be the second and third largest economies respectively.
There is a huge appetite for technical knowhow and equipment
owing to the untapped potential in the cinema theatre market in India and the

Tamil Nadu state and is home to some of the greatest cinemas and movie culture. Chennai is the major destination for buyers in South India
