MIT has been selected as the first official North
American Samsung Onyx dealer. MIT was
instrumental in the first US installation of the DCI compliant, 4k Onyx Cinema
LED wall at the Pacific Winnetka theatre earlier this year.
“From the first time this direct view cinema
display was shown publically, MIT realized by the overwhelming positive
reaction of our customers that this technology was going to be the future of
cinema” said EVP of Sales and Marketing Joe Delgado. “MIT is in the process of developing new products and technologies in support of this new cinema image platform.”
“We at Samsung are thrilled to partner with
resellers that understand the future of cinema,” said Nick Conti, Business
Development Senior Manager for Cinema at Samsung. “We’ve had exceptional
success with MIT as a partner in our installation at Pacific Winnetka 12 &
XD in Chatsworth, California. Having MIT in our group of resellers will help us
continue to revolutionize the cinema experience and expand its presence among
global cinema operators to reach wider audiences both in the U.S. and
throughout the world.”
