Vista Cinema, the global leader in cinema management software, has signed a multi-year deal with SM Cinema, the Philippines largest film exhibitor.
The arrangement, the first for Vista in this country, will result in great advances for SM customers including easier access to seat reservations, ticket purchasing and concession sales. SM Cinema, which has 65 sites and more than 350 screens representing approximately 50% of the Philippine cinema landscape, is a subsidiary of SM Prime Holdings, the largest mall operator in the Philippines. One of the key drivers of change for SM Cinema was the need for an improved Customer Engagement approach and a focus on increased market share, through using Vista loyalty and its capabilities.
