Cinionic Giant Screen (CGS) powers a new premium experience for 6th largest US circuit

Cinionic, the world’s leading provider of laser cinema solutions, and B&B Theatres, the 6^th largest exhibitor in the U.S., with nearly 500 screens across 55 locations, announce their collaboration to enhance B&B’s premium large format Grand Screen, with the power of CGS. The first Grand Screen powered by CGS opens in B&B’s newly renovated Blacksburg 11 theatre in Blacksburg, VA this July. The move to CGS, Cinionic’s premium cinema solution, ensures a brighter, elevated experience for B&B’s audiences.

B&B Theatres premium Grand Screen auditoriums are home to some of the largest screens in the U.S. The reimagined Grand Screen powered by CGS at B&B Blacksburg 11 will offer moviegoers an exceptional cinema experience in every visit. From the moment guests arrive they will notice the difference throughout, with an eye-catching signature entryway that gives way to a spacious auditorium and premium upgraded amenities, to stunning presentations of expertly remastered films from all major Hollywood studios. Each element of the Grand Screen powered by CGS has been carefully designed to exceed guest expectations, providing a giant, brighter, better way to go to the movies.

B&B acquired the Blacksburg multiplex in fall of 2020 with a vision to upgrade and enhance the entire moviegoing experience for the vibrant college town. At the center of the redesigned concept is the addition of B&B’s signature premium large format Grand Screen powered by CGS. For Blacksburg moviegoers, this means DTS:X immersive audio, luxury recliners, atmospheric dive lighting to enhance the visual experience, a giant screen, and the power of CGS for brighter, giant presentations with artfully remastered Hollywood titles. As audiences across the USA return to cinema after a long hiatus at home, the demand for differentiated is high. Grand Screen powered by CGS at B&B Blacksburg 11 delivers the elevated cinema experience audiences have been craving.
