Together with CES+ and Dolby, Multicines
Mall del Rio Guayaquil was the only project to be started and developed in
Latin America during the COVID-19 pandemic, which finally opened its doors to
the public on May 22, 2021, in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Demonstrating that union makes
strength, has supported Multicines during its arrival in Guayaquil, with its
new cinema Mall del Rio. The theatre has
11 beautiful auditoriums, including a 4D Emotion + 3D screen and a PLF screen (MCX
– Multicines Xtreme) with Dolby Atmos sound system certified by Engineer Carlos
Cuevas. These auditoriums are the first of their kind in Guayaquil with this
technology which demonstrates Multicines and CES+’ pioneering spirit of taking
cinema to the top.
“Selecting the right partners has
always been important to us, and CES+ is definitively one of them. We have been
working with Guillermo and Alex Younger for more than two decades with
excellent results. CES+ delivered during the most challenging year in our
industry’s history,” said Gonzalo Lopez, Multicines’ CEO.
Multicines features Dolby Atmos and
Dolby audio systems and servers, chairs by Inorca and Lumma, screens by
Severston and RGB pure laser projectiontechnology by Christie. This thoughtful combination of technology and
comfort will provide moviegoers with an unmatched, immersive movie-going
experience. Dolby has been a fundamental
partner in this project providing the sound system and servers optimizing the
sound in every auditorium.
