Complementing its growing presence in the United States, Qube Cinema has announced a partnership with Strong Technical Services, a subsidiary of Ballantyne of Omaha, Inc. (NYSE: Amex: BTN), to expand its servicing network in the United States.
One of the global leaders in digital cinema, Qube has put together a world class team of engineers and technicians who have worked on over 1200 installations deployed across 18 countries. Through this partnership with Strong, Qube has a world class technical resource and support partner in the United States which it hopes to extend into other territories as well.
Qube's customer base is ensured peace of mind as all Qube's technical needs are communicated to their field technicians and the Strong team through SNMP remote monitoring services that instantly alert them if any equipment attached to their installed base is malfunctioning. “QUBE Cinema is one of the top names in the digital cinema business," said Pat Moore, Vice President of Strong Technical Services. “We are delighted they have selected us as a partner for their servicing network in the U.S.”

Under the agreement, Strong Technical Services will provide installation, maintenance and service support for Qube Cinema servers and related products. Technical support staff from Strong Technical Services has undergone extensive training by Qube to prepare for this initiative.
