At this year's CineAsia, Volfoni will present their entire line of 3D products for cinemas and the content display market (home theaters, education, events, corporate communications, meeting rooms, etc). After the successful launch of EDGE 1.0 in 2010, the next generation version EDGE 1.2 comes to CineAsia with improved performance. Battery life has increased from 300 to 800 hours, and new liquid crystal lenses are in place, operating with unprecedented efficiency. Already recognized for their quality of customer service, Volfoni continues their constant customer support of theater owners. The company offers many accessories such as cleaning wipes, protective collection bags for the glasses, generic easy-to-replace batteries, maintenance tools and additional glasses arms to replace or customize the glasses per screening. It's a set of services that has already attracted many theater owners, and ensures that each 3D projection is an exceptional one.
Until December 31st 2011, in cooperation with its distributors, Volfoni is offering special bundled packages containing EDGE 1.2 glasses and an emitter kit (for example, a 3D Cinema Kit + 200 pairs EDGE 1.2 glasses, or a 3D CompactKit + 100 pairs EDGE 1.2 glasses)
A global passive 3D solution
While Volfoni is known worldwide for their line of active glasses for the cinema, EDGE, the company is also developing products that use passive technology: SmartCrystal Pro and soon, SmartCrystal Cinema.
Launched this past fall, SmartCrystal Pro is becoming a worldwide success. Ideal for presentations at meetings, conferences, classrooms, lectures, and home entertainment, this polarization modulator works well for all configurations that require simulations and visualizations of high quality.
