The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Cine Colombia Selects MACCS International to Manage Theatrical Distribution

Largest Entertainment Company in Colombia will Release All Titles from Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros. Pictures Using MACCS’ Leading Worldwide Software
MACCS International, the largest developer of distribution software for the global motion picture industry with over 100 distributors in 37 territories among its clientele, has announced that Cine Colombia has licensed MACCS Theatrical Distribution Software to run its distribution.  Senior Vice President Jesse Chow made the announcement today at the ShowEast convention in Hollywood, Florida.

MACCS Theatrical Distribution Software manages all aspects of a motion picture theatrical release including planning, booking contracts, inventory, box office data, invoicing, and cash receivables.  It interfaces with multiple general ledger systems and, through its MaccsBox API services, provides a single point of contact to third-party systems including those of exhibitors, post-production houses and shipping depots.  Its design around automation provides efficiencies and improved business intelligence and is available in multiple languages and currencies.

“I am so pleased that Cine Colombia has chosen MACCS to drive distribution,” said Chow.  “I have been impressed with the breadth of their operation, and am excited they chose our leading software as we focus on further growth in Latin America.”
